‘Indian Robot Olympiad’ or ‘IRO’ is a primary and high school level robot challenge competition organized by ‘Techtronics Education (India) Pvt Ltd’.

Robotics for Education is a fun filled way to impart science, technology and mathematics learning to students. Techtronics organizes time bound courses in schools to teach children the Art of creating robots to solve specific fun filled challenges using ‘LEGO MINDSTROMS’. All training courses and activities are developed by qualified and experienced educators. The Activities cover the Range of the Child’s learning spectrum – from early learning to high school and beyond.

The Indian Robot Olympiad will be held in 3 categories and the Winning teams will get to represent India in the World Robot Olympiad to be held in Philippines from November 5th -7th 2010.

A practice day will be given to children on 27th August’10, followed by final competition on 28th August’10. In addition to this, there shall be a ‘Free Robotics Workshop’ for our young audiences belonging to the Age group of 8 to 16 years to make them enjoy the Thrill of making Robots.
