Athletic meets are an integral part of education as a whole, apart from commemorating victories, these meets also aim at imparting lessons on camaraderie to learners. Opened with an oath taking ceremony by the House Captains and the House Prefects the Junior School Athletic Meet was recently conducted as a track and field event which included a number of races such as 100mtr, 200mtr, 400mtr, 4X100mtr relay races, long jump and ball throw for different categories. The entire atmosphere reverberated with the echoes of applause of the ebullient and enthusiastic athletes. The commentators with their spontaneous narration added flavour by covering the live action of the sporting events.
