Genesis Global School participated in the 40th Platinum Jubilee All India Debate and Quiz at The Scindia School, Gwalior from Friday, August 23 to Sunday, August 25.

Prakhar Agarwal and Aritro Bose participated in the Quiz Competition on Sunday, August 25 and were runners up, but as the Host school does not compete for the Trophy, Genesis received the Winner’s trophy which is a rolling trophy instituted in 1986 by The Scindia School to celebrate their Platinum Jubilee.

In the Debate spread over Friday, August 23 and Saturday, August 24, our team of Aritro Bose, Rhitik Jassar and Nishka Malik made it to the Semi final but lost to the Host school who went on to win the Finals. The Debate had a challenging format that started with Turncoat and switched on to Cambridge format and ended up as the Parliamentary debate.

There were several leading schools of long standing like Mayo, Doon, Sanawar, MGD, Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya, Vasant Valley, etc from different parts of the Country, and Genesis, the Youngest of the Lot was able to hold its own against them.

True, our ‘students’ served as happy ambassadors for Genesis and returned with great memories of their first such outing to such an illustrious school and also left behind happy memories of their stay with the Scindians and have made enduring friendship with others.
