Genesis Global School celebrated Bastille Day (French National Day) at its premises, which commemorates the Storming of the Bastille on July 14, 1789, and also marks the Beginning of the French Revolution.

An inter-school competition was conducted between students of Class 4th to Class 10th at Genesis Global School to celebrate the Uprising of the Modern nation. A panel of esteemed guests – Mr Muthusamy Varadarajan, retired IAS officer, Dr. Abhijit Karkun, professor at Jawaharlal Nehru University and Dr. Sushant K Mishra, Director (I/c) lit the Lamp to commence the Competition.

The Day also witnessed a cultural extravaganza with a thematic slide show – ‘Culture of France’, showcasing the Traditions and life in France. Students participated in poster making competitions around various themes such as, French monuments, French science & technology, portraits of French personalities, life in France, the Indo-French connection, World peace, etc. Dance and poem recitation competitions were also held during the Day. The Results of the Event saw MVN Aravali Hill School at first place, Lotus Valley School at 2nd place, and Genesis Global school at 3rd place. Students studying French, enthusiastically sang traditional French songs. Soft boards, resplendent with information about French monuments, facts and tourist places, were put up to demonstrate the City in the Premises.
