Cinematography is the art of visual storytelling. Anyone can set a camera on a tripod and hit record, but the artistry of cinematography comes in controlling what the viewer sees (or doesn’t see) and how the image is presented. Film is a visual medium, and the best-shot films are the ones where you can understand what’s going on without hearing any of the dialogues.
We provide our young students the opportunity to work not only for school events’ (recording) but also to make them compile various footage to create the news for the school. The intention of the process is to teach them:
How to use an advanced camera to shoot and record with proper sound and light effects?
How to edit the reports (omit and add the videos) effectively using different kinds of software?
How to write a script and compile it?
How to read the news in an appropriate and standard format?
How to interview well known personalities with well drafted and inquisitive questions?
How to give special effects while composing the news?
Understand the practical nuances of the subject, that are required during the process of news making and individual movie making.
