U-8 Rally Match of the Yata Open Tennis Championship 2024

Proud of PYP 2 student Aavya Bhasin for being declared as Runner-Up in the U-8 Rally Match of the Yata Open Tennis Championship 2024 held at JBM Global School, Noida recently.

H.O.P.E 2024 Competition

Congratulating MYP 4 student Vivaan Mathur for securing the 3rd position at the H.O.P.E 2024 Competition* in the category Eco VERSE.

Eco-Verse, a competition, where poetry served as a medium or a platform to combat the issue of “Global Warming.” Enthusiastic participants engaged in the artistry of verse, utilizing their poetic talents and skills to address the challenges associated with the environmental crisis.

“H.O.P.E. – Heal Our Planet Earth,”  is a Jamnabai Narsee International School  initiative  that brings together change-makers and environmental advocates, wherein 886 participants from 8 countries and 68 schools came together to address environmental challenges.

Bronze medal in  the International Olympiad of Science

Congratulating all the award winners who participated in the SOF – National Science Olympiad conducted during session 2023-24.

Congratulations also to PYP3 student Svanika Malani for winning a Bronze medal in  the International Olympiad of Science (IOS23) conducted during session 2023-24.

67th National School Games 2023-24

Proud to announce that CBSE Grade 10 student Prakriti Sharma created history at GGS by clinching the first-ever Gold Medal at the SGFI Fencing event held in Aurangabad, Maharashtra in the 67th  National School Games 2023-24.

Being away from the home for years and yet balancing her academics and sporting achievements, Prakriti is truly emerging as a role model for other GGS students.

Triump Open Tennis Championship 2024

Congratulations to Aavya Bhasin for being declared the U-8 Aptitude Test Winner, Atharv Rai for becoming the U-8 Aptitude Test Runners Up and Arshan Akhlaq Malik for winning the U-10 Aptitude in the recently concluded Triump Open Tennis Championship 2024 held at the Ggs Tennis Courts.

International Olympiad

Congratulating all the award winners who participated in the International Olympiad of English organised by Silver Zone Foundation conducted during session 2023-24. 

Samik Mittal and Deepank Saini Sadh for scoring 90%

Congratulating CBSE Grade 8 students Samik Mittal and Deepank Saini Sadh for scoring 90% in the Goethe-Zertifikat A1: Fit in Deutsch Examination*.

The *Goethe-Zertifikat A1: Fit in Deutsch is a German exam for young learners which certifies that candidates have acquired basic language skills and corresponds to the second level (A2) on the six-level scale of competence laid down in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). This exam comprises reading, listening, writing, and speaking sections. The exam is administered and evaluated in the same way all over the world.

Inter-House English Debate Competition

IB and CBSE Senior students recently took part in an Inter-House English Debate Competition Final Round.

Peace House emerged victorious, delivering a persuasive argument in favor of AI’s job-creating potential. Meanwhile, Justice House presented a strong opposition, addressing concerns about job displacement.

We also congratulate MYP 2 student Eshal Ratra of Peace House for winning the Best Speaker Award.

The judges praised both teams’ eloquence and depth of arguments, the students’ debating skills and their ability to tackle complex topics with sophistication.

1st Inter-School Gymnastics Competition

Aiming to foster a healthy competition as well as encourage new talent to explore the sport- Invitations are out for our 1st Inter-School Gymnastics Competition on February 28th and 29th, 2024.

A sport that requires strength, flexibility, agility, coordination, balance, and endurance, Gymnastics also contributes to the development of the mind and body, which is why GGS chose to embed the sport in its school programme.
