Overall Winner’s Trophy

Debating is an essential form of communication which stems from the need to develop a curious and healthy mind.
The #LandmarkConclaveEdition 2, 2016 is a signature Genesis event built around the healthy competitions of Extempore & Turncoat and Debating activities. Around 13 schools , including a few that came from as far as Mohali, Sanawar and Dehradun ensured that with their well-planned presentations, this year’s landmark conclave proved to be a stimulating and exciting event.
‘Turncoat’ is an exclusive feature of this event in which a debater competes between his ‘ego and his alter-ego’ presenting an argument from both the perspectives “for & against” providing food for thought for all his listeners.
Practical scientific experiments were carried out on stage before the contestants, while the live feed was podcast on the big screen for the audience members to view, that formed the basis of the Quiz which was won by YPS, Mohali, while the first runner up was Modern School, Barakhamba Road and the Second runner up was Genesis Global School
Encouraging our children to be gracious hosts, the ‘ Overall Winner’s Trophy’ was handed to #TheDoonSchool although Genesians Lakshita Vij , Poorvi Agarwal and Udyat Anand did us proud by winning the event.
