Congratulating! Vidit Mahajan for Grade 10 for bagging the Best Quizzer Award at the recently held -Confluence 2019, an annual literary conference of Singapore International School, Mumbai.
Competing against 18 teams from other schools, the GGS team comprising Vidit Mahajan and Aks Arora from grade 10 and Amar Mohindra and Mohammad Shihab from grade 11 handled the prelims of quiz with much ease and cut through for the finals.
Conducted by well celebrated quizmaster, Mr. Pranab Mukherji, the quiz had questions from variety of domains, most of which were attempted smartly, by the participants, showcasing their good levels of know-how.
Congratulating! Genesian Arshvant Srivastava for finishing at 10th position, competing against 146 participants from more than 50 Countries in the US Kids World Championship held recently at Pinehurst, North Carolina,USA. Its the largest Junior Golf Tournament in the World.
The National Round of Microsoft Office Specialist Exam 2019 held in Pune saw GGS scholar Seo Won Yoo from Grade 9 securing the 2nd Position, India in Word 2016 and Kushaan Shyampuria from IBDP securing the 3rd Position, India in Excel 2016.
In the Microsoft Junior IC3 Spark 2019, National Round, Vedang Dugar from MYP Grade 7 secured the 1st Position, India, followed by Erik Saini, Pratyaksh Singh and Hana Aggarwal grabbing the Super Achiever Award along with securing themselves, a rank in the top 10 positions in India.

Congratulating! Genesian Kim Suhyun of Grade 10 for being appointed as a junior member of the National Unification Advisory Council by the Korean Embassy. She was awarded the certificate of appointment by the Chairman- Indian Branch Advisory Council on 6th April 2019.
Since 2018, attempts in the unifying South and North Korea have actively taken place, for which the Korean government wants to take views and suggestions of their youngsters across the globe. There will be meetings on a regular basis where the members of the council will come together and discuss what changes can be made to bring about unification at the earliest.
This is an enlightening part of Kim Suhyun’s journey in India and she looks forward to actively work to fulfill the agendas, in the best interest of her country.
