School Toppers at the FIT in Deutsch 1* and FIT in Deutsch 2* Examinations
Congratulating! our Students who appeared for the FIT in Deutsch 1* and FIT in Deutsch 2* Examinations.
Special mention of school toppers Ananya and Aks who have been awarded participation in a one-day German camp organised by Max Mueller Bhavan Goethe Institute New Delhi to be held in March,2020.
The Goethe-Zertifikat A1: Fit in Deutsch 1 is a German exam which certifies that candidates have acquired very basic language skills and corresponds to the first level (A1) on the six-level scale of competence laid down in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
The Goethe-Zertifikat A2: Fit in Deutsch 2 is a German exam for children and young people between 12 and 16 years of age. It certifies that candidates have acquired very basic language skills and corresponds to the second level (A2) on the six-level scale of competence laid down in the CEFR.
India Rank No.19 in the Sub Junior Squash
Congratulating Genesian Abhiraj Singh for currently becoming India Rank No.-19 in the Sub Junior Squash circuit and reaching a world ranking of 111.
He has also come 2nd in the National Indore Squash Open Championship recently.
Excellence in Teaching Award
Happy to announce that GGS has been awarded the “Excellence in Teaching” Award at the International School Awards recently held at Amity University Dubai.
Our Principal- National Curriculum, Mr. Ajay Singh received the award on behalf of the School from Dr. Deepak Vohra, Special Advisor to PM and ex-Ambassador and Dr. Attaullah Wahidyar, Senior Advisor to Education Minister of Afghanistan.
Improviso- An Extempore Competition

Congratulating, Nora Beniwal, Tanya Rebecca and Avanya Singh Thapa for winning the 1st,2nd & 3rd positions respectively at the “Improviso- An Extempore Competition” recently organised by Grades 6 A & B.
The competition aimed at enhancing Public Speaking skills, Critical Thinking, Confidence and Poise in our young learners. The extempore was accomplished in two rounds. Eight speakers made it to the final round.
Robotics Competition WeDo 2.0*
Congratulating, Genesians Akul Nehra and Karambir Inder Singh of Grade 4 for being the 1st runners up in the Robotics Competition WeDo 2.0* at the Science and Tech Fair ‘Unboxed’ held at Pathways School, Noida recently.
Abir Verma and Reyansh Jain of Grade 5 also won an award for ‘Most Effective Teamwork’ in Makey Makey** with Scratch***.

The Most Innovative Robot Design Award
Congratulating the GGS Robotic Team-Automaton- for securing the 4th position in India and winning The Most Innovative Robot Design Award at the National Championship of MakeX Robotics Competition held at Euro School Mumbai, recently.
The 2019 MakeX Robotics Competition, Challenger category of Courageous Traveller was designed to challenge young people to solve real-world problems that they face every day including people’s safety, environmental pollution, food safety, recycling, viral infection and more by applying STEAM concepts.
The Most Innovative Robot Design Award was awarded to the GGS Robot that was designed with mechanical blocking features- which were tested by throwing balls at a target that it was instructed to protect.
Heliodyssey Champion
Congratulating Genesian, Aditya Arjun Anibha of Grade 11- IBDP for winning a fully sponsored trip to Oman to be a part of part the “Indian Students Scientific Solar Expedition”.
Aditya participated in an Astronomy Competition- Heliodyssey and has won the title of a Heliodyssey Champion.
Heliodyssey is a flagship project of Space India, which gives opportunity to the students of various schools all over India to be the part of student scientific solar eclipse expedition and work with astronomers and scientist to study solar eclipses, happening all over the world.

The GGS Scholarship Award
Our wholehearted congratulations to IB Students -Mohammed Shihab, Aditya Anibha, Aditya Singh and Abhinav Agarwal on being granted The GGS Scholarship Award for the Academic Year 2020-2021.
This scholarship is awarded to them for showing consistent academic excellence balanced with co-curricular and extracurricular activities impacting the school community and beyond.
