And it’s a Hat-trick! 3 years in a row- GGS students will represent India in the F1 in Schools World Finals.

Congratulating Pentafluid Team members- Mohammed Shihab, Vasu Singhal, Kush Agarwal, Aditya Arjun Anibha, Aditya Pratap Singh and Team Coach Mr Ganesh Tiwari for emerging as National Champions at the recently held ‘F1 in Schools’ *- Virtual National Finals. The team now progresses to represent India in the World Finals to be held in Australia next year.

*F1 in Schools is an international STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) competition for school children.

CBSE School Topper

Squash Championship

Congratulating, Genesian Abhiraj Singh of Grade 7 CBSE, for winning the 1st prize in the Under-13 Boys category at the Indian Squash Academy Circuit Junior Open which was recently held at the headquarters of the Squash Racquet Federation of India, Chennai.

Achieving the 1st rank in the tournament will help Abhiraj break into the top-5 barrier before he graduates to the Under-15 category.

Congratulating ,Genesian Arshvant Srivastava of Grade 5 for finishing at 3rd position in the Inaugural US Kids Indian Championship recently held at the Classic Golf & Country Club, Haryana.

International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF)

Congratulating, Genesian Mohammad Shihab for being selected to represent Team India at the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) in Anaheim, California, USA.

The IRIS National Fair 2019-20 was recently held in Bangalore where Grade 11 Genesian Mohammad Shihab’s project “A differential calculus based approach to maximize the chlorophyll content in V. radiata through optimum use of Urea and Potassium Sulfate fertilizers” won the Grand Award and the opportunity to represent India in the ISEF.

* The IRIS (Initiative for Research & Innovation in STEM) National Fair promotes and nurtures science and scientific research among young Indian innovators. It provides a platform for winning students to represent India at the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), the world’s largest international pre-college science competition, held annually in the U.S.Each year, research-based science projects by young students, across 17 subject categories—are reviewed by an eminent jury comprising of scientists and domain experts.

Silicon Valley Code of Honour

Upon being selected for the Silicon Valley Code of Honour by their senior curriculum mentors Congratulating, Grade 8 (MYP-3), Genesian Mahatwa Kumar for being certified as an official WhiteHat Jr Code of Honor recipient.

Nuturing his interest in coding at WhiteHat Jr coding classes, Mahatwa demonstrated excellent implementation of concepts in his BliCal Application. Uniqueness of the idea, Core Functionality, User Interface and World Impact were the highlights of his submission, along with originality and bold creative expression.

Special mention, that out of the 7000+ entries, received Mahatwa Kumar made it to the final round of selection, despite having completed only 49 classes whereas all the 10 shortlisted applicants for the mentorship round have covered a minimum of 80+ classes.

Going forward Mahatwa gets the opportunity to refine and submit his idea for the next round of Silicon Valley selections for Nov’ 2020.

School Toppers at the FIT in Deutsch 1* and FIT in Deutsch 2* Examinations

Congratulating! our Scholars who appeared for the FIT in Deutsch 1* and FIT in Deutsch 2* Examinations.

Special mention of school toppers Ananya and Aks who have been awarded participation in a one-day German camp organised by Max Mueller Bhavan Goethe Institute New Delhi to be held in March,2020.

The Goethe-Zertifikat A1: Fit in Deutsch 1 is a German exam which certifies that candidates have acquired very basic language skills and corresponds to the first level (A1) on the six-level scale of competence laid down in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

The Goethe-Zertifikat A2: Fit in Deutsch 2 is a German exam for children and young people between 12 and 16 years of age. It certifies that candidates have acquired very basic language skills and corresponds to the second level (A2) on the six-level scale of competence laid down in the CEFR.
