Congratulations are in order for students Rabaan Mehta for winning the gold medal in the 10M pistol, U14 Boys category, Leanah Ahuja for securing the bronze medal in the 10M pistol, U14 Girls category, and to Takshh Dua for bagging the bronze medal in the 10M rifle, U17 Boys category at the ISSO Nationals Shooting Championship 2023 recently held at Prometheus School, Noida.
Congratulating GGS CBSE Grade 8 student Vishnu Singh for being awarded the ‘Second position’ in the Folk Art competition at “Spandan” Annual Inter-school Cultural Fiesta 2023′ organized by Vishwa Bharati Public School, Noida recently.
More than 15 schools from Delhi-NCR took part in the competition where the topics were given on the spot and the students got a chance to express their creativity. This was the first Interschool art competition Vishnu Singh had ever participated in and he was overjoyed to be awarded this laurel. It has helped build his confidence and made him more enthusiastic about art.
Congratulating GGS DP1 students – Sameer Gupta, Ahaan Garg, Yash Nath, and Rithwik Agarwal for being declared the All India National Runners-up and Regional Winner (Region-1: North and East zones) in 3D Design Senior Category and also Ragini Negi for being titled the Regional Winner (Region-1: North and East zones) in Graphics Design Senior Category at the recently held Design Championship*- 2023.

Congratulating, our team member Ms. Chitra Sehgal for being declared a Global Schools Advocate on behalf of the Global Schools Program*.
From August 2023 to January 2024, Ms Chitra Sehgal will serve as an official, local representative of the programme and work to integrate education for sustainable development into lessons and activities within GGS.
Approximately 300 educators from 80 countries were selected out of ~3,500 applicants to become Global Schools Advocates. They completed one month of rigorous training on crucial aspects of Sustainable Development and ESD. They will provide students with the knowledge, values, and skills required to work towards a sustainable and prosperous world.
*Global Schools Program is an initiative of the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN).
Congratulating, GGS Gymnastics Level One Team for clinching the 2nd position in the “Team Championship” with an impressive score of 225.10 points at the recently held Gymnastics competition (Grassroots Level Gymnastics competitions).
Special mention for Tia Chauhan (Level One Team) for securing the Silver Medal with a score of 18.90 points on the Balance Beam, Asha Nozomi for achieving the 3rd position on the Balancing Beam in Level 2 and Ghhnali for being declared the best gymnast in level 2 with a score of 48.40 points.
Congratulating GGS MYP5 student Shaurya Nagar for being awarded the ‘Best Speaker’ and receiving a lucrative cash prize along with the trophy at the Rotary Club Debate Competition organized by Rotary Club and Kulachi Hansraj School, held in Delhi recently.

Congratulating GGS Team members Mr. Rajeev Pargaein (IBDP coordinator), Ms. Kakali Datta Banik(IBDP Associate Coordinator), and Ms. Smita Chandra (HOD Individual and Societies) have completed their training and have been awarded the roles of IB MYP-DP Programme Leader and DP Evaluation Reading.
Achieving this title means they would be taking visits to evaluate and authorize other IB schools to ensure that IB standards and expectations are being followed.
This is not just a great achievement for them professionally, but it is also a reason for the school to be proud of having such professionals on board.
