IPSC U-17 Football Championship — at Genesis Global School
What a glorious and exciting week this has been! Our 30 acre green campus was brimming with 600 football players.
We hosted the IPSC U-17 Football Championship over 5 days, with 23 teams, seeing many victories and making uncountable memories!
Opened by Dr.Vijay Datta (Principal- Modern School, Barakhamba, New Delhi), the championship was well organized with league matches , quarter finals, semi-finals and the nail biting final match where Modern School Barakhamba Road,New Delhi defeated Emerald Height ,Indore to bag the coveted trophy.
Chief Guest- Commander V.K Banga( Chairman IPSC & Principal of The Mann School, Delhi), graced the closing ceremony recognizing the effort and planning that went into organizing an event of this magnitude.
GGS Football Team member Vinayak Trehan was recognized as the Best Goal Keeper, adding that very precious trophy to the sports laurels which the school holds in high esteem.
We look forward to hosting many more such event.
