Upcycling, also known as creative reuse, is the process of transforming materials or products into items perceived to be of greater artistic or environmental value.

Needless to say, the environmental benefits of upcycling are huge, aside from minimising the volume of discarded materials and waste being sent to landfill each year, it also reduces the need for production using new or raw materials which means a reduction in air pollution, water pollution, greenhouse gas emissions and often a conservation of global resources.

We are happy to support the UPCYCLE BOOKS venture, dreamed and designed by our parent community through the SAC (School Advisory Council). This small effort will help us teach our students some valuable lessons and at the same, we hope, also benefit the community in tangible and unseen ways.
